Domestic Short Hair - Black - Dixie - Small - Adult - Female
Dixie came to us on a cal to the PetFood Express in Pleasant Hill where we hold adoptions. She was found in a backyard, but the family was allergic and couldn't keep her. Dixie was only about 5 weeks old and already very sweet and loving. She is missing a little bit off the end of her tail... not sure how she lost it, but it doesn't seem to hurt her any. She also sustained a fracture to her leg which didn't quite heal right, so her gait is a little off. She was adopted, and the woman loves her greatly, but a new roommate moved in and is severely allergic they tried lots of allergy medicine but nothing worked. Dixie is super sweet, a total love, just a little reserved at first. She's about a year old now. She is okay with other cats, but would prefer to be an 'only-child.' She is also fine with kids and dogs once she's had some time to get to know them. She will be at the PetCo in Walnut Creek on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4pm.
